A new oil-on-canvas portrait of Prince William the Duke of Cambridge - released to mark the WW1 Centenary - will be revealed at the Wales Office in Whitehall today.
The 3ft high piece by Welsh artist Dan Llywelyn Hall, is called Fatherhood and was painted after Prince William attended a meeting at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff when he viewed Mr Hall's portrait of the Queen.
The painting is going to be auctioned at the Bonhams First World War Centenary sale on 1 October. All proceeds will go to The Victoria Cross & War Memorials Trusts.
Dan Llywelyn Hall, 33, is the youngest person ever to paint a portrait of the Queen and is a The Sunday Times Young Artist of the Year.
He has painted portraits of First World War veterans Henry Allingham and Harry Patch which are on permanent display in the Royal Collection and the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath.
His interpretation of the Queen last year received mixed reviews, and it will be intersting how his portrait of the Prince will be received!
