Traditionally, christenings take place three months after a baby is born - Prince George was christened in October 2013 three months after his birth.
However Princess Charlotte will be christened just over two months from when she came into the world.
The Christening will be conducted by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury at St Mary Magdalene Church (in the Queen's Sandringham estate, Norfolk) which is conveniently near the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's home, Anmer Hall.
What will Princess Charlotte be wearing?
The tiny Princess will wear the same Royal Christening gown worn by Prince George. The gown is a copy of the one all nine of Queen Victoria's children wore which was made from the lace of her wedding dress.
