The Shiplake Outloars, a Fixed Seat Rowing Club based in Shiplake, recently rowed their four oared Jolly Boat Zachary the length of the Thames, raising over £3,000 for The Accessible Boat Club, the sister charity of the award winning Rivertime Boat Trust.
The Accessible Boat Club - the sister charity to the award winning Rivertime Boat Trust - facilitates children and adults with special needs to paddle, sail and drive motor boats on the Thames in a safe environment. The money raised by the rowers will go towards subsiding groups of children from specialist schools so they can also enjoy the river.
