Where To Go For Traditional Fish and Chips in Windsor

Sometimes it can be difficult to decide where to go for the perfect fish and chips and so I have narrowed down the choices from the local surrounding area to just two: King Neptune and Scott’s fish and chips.

King Neptune

The recently renovated King Neptune fish and chip restaurant is highly rated with reviews claiming that customers will be returning very soon! With an ideal location in central Windsor, it is readily available with opening times of 11:45am till 10pm everyday except on Saturday when it opens fifteen minutes later at 12pm and on Sundays when it is closed, meaning a traditional fish and chips is never difficult to acquire. King Neptune fish and chips is known for its great atmosphere created by the friendly staff as well as the owner who regularly works there and serves freshly cooked food and sometimes, if you're lucky, you may even get a few chips to snack on whilst you wait for your main meal! Available at good hours and open almost everyday with good service, atmosphere and fresh quality food, King Neptune is perfect for traditional fish and chips.

Scott's fish and chips

Scott's fish and chips claims to be the 'the home of Windsor’s favourite fish & chip shop' which is a very difficult statement to argue against! Although the restaurant is not as central to Windsor as King Neptune, it still has an easily accessible location that’s placed within a 5 minute drive from LEGOLAND Windsor, Windsor Racecourse and the town centre. With a useful website complete with a menu of the selection of the food they offer, ways to contact them as well as the option to use their fish and chip shop for any catered events, the family run restaurant is traditional, friendly and delicious.
