Football First Academy offers a wealth of services, including personal training, parties, camps and tailored training, with football at the very core of each one. As Graham and Mark say, “Our passion is ‘football first’; we don't offer other sports coaching and we stay focused and true to the game”.

Children's football coaching

Ex-professional footballers, Graham Branch and Mark Stalker, provide football training sessions for kids of all abilities every Monday and Tuesday evening.

Boys and girls are welcome to join them at Hilbre School, West Kirby, from 6-7 at just £3 a session.

Independent football academy

These coaching sessions are invitation only, offered to all boys and girls across the Wirral who can attain the level needed to be involved in the professional game. Players should expect to be pushed, but develop naturally in a knowledgeable environment, without too much pressure. 

The sessions will be fun and enjoyable, and each player will be assessed in a number of different ways during the first couple of sessions and then subsequently re-assessed on a six-week rolling programme. Parents will be kept up to date with their child’s progress throughout and invited to discuss things with on a regular basis.

The academy will have close links and constant communication with all the local professional clubs, as the ultimate goal is progressing players into their academies.

Football camps

Football First Academy also run popular football camps, open to boys and girls aged 4-14 years old. The wide-ranging scope includes age-related activities to engage all players.  There will also be favourites like the crossbar challenge, mini world cup and penalty shoot outs, speed gun challenge and medals.

Football parties

Football First Academy can arrange the perfect day for a football mad child’s birthday, hiring a facility or coming to a chosen venue. They provide up to two hours of fun, including all the equipment, a range of games and matches, prizes, certificates, and even the food a cake!

Personal and tailored training

Personal training sessions are delivered by Graham Branch, an ex-professional footballer and fully-qualified Advanced Personal Trainer. Graham is able to offer clients a tailored workout covering all aspects of general fitness, exercise and nutritional advice.

Tailored training focuses on one on one football skills, including assessments, mentoring, technical development and tactical awareness.

Football First Academy has a range of other services that can be delivered across the Wirral, including girls-only football coaching sessions and mentoring for children with behavioural issues at schools
