Sophie Blackburn aged 9 years is one of three finalists in The Natwest Pig Design Competition. There were over 2000 UK entries to design the new NatWest Pig for a new generation
(formerly the iconic Natwest children savings pig from 1980's)...and her painted pig design got through!
The three shortlisted designs are up for an online public vote from now until Midnight 9th December 2012 when the design with the most votes wins the competition. The winner will then become the new NatWest pig.
Sophie met Harry Potter illustrator, Cliff Wright last Thursday 29th November, at Natwest Bank in Heswall; where she was presented with a water colour painting of her pig design Stew Tan, painted by Cliff himself.
The voting ends Midnight 9th December and the winner will be announced the following day on Monday 10th Dec…it would be really good if the winner was local from Wirral!
