Wine of the month is Picpoul de Pinet, Vignobles Canet (France)
Enjoyed on the wine trip on the beach with oysters by the Wro gang.
This little known grape flourishes in the coastal vineyards of the Languedoc Crisp with peach/pear fruit and clean acidity.
Why is it called picpoul- when the grapes are almost ripe the chickens come and peck the grapes off the vine (picquer to peck poulet chickens!!!!)
For a mouthwatering bottle of Picpoul de Pinet £19.95
A large glass £6.60
A regular glass £4.90
We look forward to seeing you at The Award Winning Wro.
