Hadlow Road Station was part of the Hooton-West Kirby railway line until the line fell into disuse in the mid-1950's. The signal box and ticket office have been restored to how they looked in the 1950s, and the station is now a tourist attraction on the Wirral Way which follows the path of the old railway line.
