RSPB Wirral Local Group - “The Bittern Diaries” - An illustrated presentation by Mike Roberts - Thursday 9th January 2025, from 7.30 pm (Doors open at 7.15 pm).
Mike Roberts has been photographing birds around the world for several years.
Mike’s talk covers his experiences of trying to see and photograph the highly secretive Bittern. He will look at the bird’s behaviour and conservation, focussing on his photography of wintering bitterns. Mike will also explain bittern behaviour, their status in the UK, plus efforts to aid their recovery.
This illustrated presentation will take place at Hoylake Community Centre, 31 Hoyle Road, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 3AG
Local group members free. Visitors are very welcome, and the cost is £5.00.
