RSPB Wirral Local Group - “Raptorphilia” - An illustrated presentation by Keith Offord - Thursday 6th March 2025, from 7.30 pm (Doors open at 7.15 pm).
Keith’s talk explores the varied world of birds of prey ranging from the diminutive Pygmy Falcon to giants such as the Martial Eagle. He will highlight how raptors have evolved an astonishing range of specialised features designed to help them survive.
As “barometers” of the health of the countryside there has been a significant recovery for many species, allowing everyone to enjoy the thrill of seeing them in the British countryside.
This illustrated presentation will take place at Hoylake Community Centre, 31 Hoyle Road, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 3AG
Local group members free. Visitors are very welcome, and the cost is £5.00.
This is not a ticket event - please just come along.
