The 6-screen cinema opened in 1992, and is highly convenient for visitors, being part of the Peacocks Shopping Complex, with adjacent parking, and with a wide choice of restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby, making it easy to include a great movie as part of your night out.
We aim to cater for all tastes, with a wide ranging programme of up-to-the-minute new Hollywood movies for both adults and children through to showing key live broadcasts of classical music, opera, drama and comedy.
For those with babies or young toddlers, why not try our Friday morning ‘Baby Flicks’ – a great way for mums, dads, grandparents or child minders to enjoy a great movie without having to worry about a restless baby. Babies under 12 months of age are free!
If you have older children, then our Saturday morning ‘Family Flicks are a great way to start the weekend with a programme of fantastic kids’ films at family-friendly prices!
For those visitors with specific access needs, we list performances with subtitles and audio description, as well as having induction loop and head set facilities. We also offer wheelchair spaces.
For our business customers, the cinema, alongside The New Victoria Theatre, offers a unique, glamorous and adaptable venue suitable for all corporate occasions.
