The OSM Shooting Club welcomes new and experienced shooters and their guests at their regular club shoots and social activities, which are held almost every weekend of the year. The club is located within the extensive grounds of the National Rifle Association in Bisley, near Woking.

The club organises regular special events, courses and training/practice sessions at weekends, or even during the week subject to demand. They can organise shoots of all types and distances.

Whether you are a complete beginner, military service rifle enthusiast or precision target shooter, The OSM Shooting Club has all the facilities to support your interests.

The OSM Shooting Club caters for:

Beginners - If you've never shot before and want to learn, the OSM has everything you need to start and gain skills & experience. The club can offer a wider range of shooting activities for individuals or groups.

Experienced Shooters - OSM are a Home Office Approved club with great on-site facilities including an in-house RFD and Armoury with work bench and storage facilities.

Many club members come at weekends to enjoy an hour or two on the range followed by another hour or two chatting in the clubhouse over a beer and/or a meal, or while enjoying a summer barbecue. There is no pressure to take part in competitions or push your shooting skills in any way, although you certainly can if you wish.

Whatever type of firearm or shooting discipline you take part in, or are interested in learning, the OSM Shooting Club has something for you. Existing members can also introduce friends and family to the sport at the club’s regular guest shoots.

The Clubhouse & Function Rooms

The Old Sergeants' Mess itself is a beautiful colonial building from the late 19^th century, lovingly restored after years of neglect with new oak flooring and panelling, and many other improvements. There is an open verandah for balmy summer evenings, and a cosy fireplace to retreat to on colder ones.

The clubhouse is open 51 weekends per year even if there is no shooting that week, so members and guests can come just to meet friends and enjoy the camaraderie.

The clubhouse restaurant serves homemade meals such as chilli, game meats, roast lamb with all the trimmings, sandwiches, and indulgent desserts. Vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free needs can be catered for, and the licensed bar means you can have a beer or glass of wine too. The club runs regular barbecues in summer, and curry nights feature quite a lot!
