Situated in the heart of Woking, within the Peacocks Shopping Centre, our theatre brings the West End to Woking with our wide-ranging programme showcasing the very best musicals, drama from leading theatre companies, opera from Glyndebourne on tour and everything in between!
The 1,300-seat theatre opened in 1992, and is now established amongst the most successful and very best in the south east. Our luxurious auditorium, coupled with state of the art technical facilities, excellent acoustics and clear sight lines enable us to play host to the very best of theatre. We also boast one of the largest and deepest stages in the area – ideal to stage large scale productions.
From the best of the West End musicals, such as Evita and Buddy, first class drama from companies such as the Royal Shakespeare and National Theatre, opera from Glyndebourne, dance from the Northern Ballet, comedy from popular favourites such as Jimmy Carr and Alan Davies and family fun from favourite characters Peppa Pig and The Gruffalo, we have a programme of shows to suit everyone! Not to mention our spectacular Christmas pantomimes!
Your visit can be made into a true VIP experience by taking time to come and enjoy a cocktail in our glamorous Piano Bar or experience the red carpet treatment in the Ambassador’s Lounge.
The New Victoria Theatre is easily accessible by car from the M23, M3 and A3 and there is parking for 2,500 cars in the shopping centre car park. We are just 5 minutes’ walk from Woking train station.
For those visitors with specific access needs, we list performances with sign language, audio description and captioning, as well as having induction loop and head set facilities. We also offer wheelchair spaces.
