With the cost of raising a child now in the hundreds of thousands of pounds, the financial strains on a family have become greater than ever before. But for families raising a disabled child, those financial pressures are often even greater and even more difficult to bear. Family Fund is the largest provider of grants to low-income families raising a disabled or seriously ill child. In 2012/13 they supported over 64,000 families across the UK with over £33m worth of grants, despite the difficult funding environment. Euronics, the largest electrical buying group in Europe, are proud to support the Family Fund initiative; and locally based RSM Domestic Appliances are just one of the retailers from whom youâll be able to obtain your electrical items once your application has been accepted. RSM, who have been trading in the Surrey area for over 40 years, are delighted that Euronics have taken this step to support such a worthwhile cause. Steve Haydon, Director of RSM, said âFamily Fund is of tremendous benefit to families when they are trying to juggle their finances. Itâs a great privilege for us at RSM to see the smile on the customersâ faces when we deliver and install a new appliance.â If your family could benefit from a Family Fund grant, visit the website www.familyfund.org.uk and, once your application is approved, give RSM a call on 01483 475000 and they will happily help you from one of their stores in Bookham, Ashtead or Knaphill (Woking).
