Mountain Music is the new theatrical musical which explores the origins of county music and invites you on an unforgettable evening of story and song. This new play from Little Bulb Theatre and Farnham maltings arrives at Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhamptonon Thursday 14th November.

Pack your bags for a unique theatre experience exploring stories around migration through music. When pioneers from the British Isles came to settle in the Appalachian Mountains, they brought with them, in their invisible baggage “The Old Country” which took on a new life amidst the new land into what we recognise today as Country Music.

Join award winning Little Bulb Theatre as they weave a tapestry both historical and the fantastical, this is a play about songs that leave and come back again. The story is told with sumptuous three-part harmonies and a (foot stomping) five-piece string band. Expect beautiful harmonies, swinging country music and a good old-fashioned hoedown.
