This week at Gatis Community Space Cheryl performed some poetry from her published poetry book "After Trauma".
This heartfelt performance was captured on video and soon went viral across social media, inspiring thousands of viewers within a matter of hours and spreading the word that "you are not alone".
The session this week took to the classroom in the form of a log cabin in the wild, amongst where the badgers live. Discussion was made of performance techniques for the upcoming exhibition at the Mander Centre, Wolverhampton, in November.
As well as an empowering session of trauma bonding and the feelings and emotions associated with this difficult and complex situation.
Cheryl was interviewed by Diyodi Menon and discussed the importance of the programme "1 in 3" - gender based violence - and the positive impact it is making on the community, she also gave thanks to the founder of the programme and also to Arts Council England.
