Something and Nothing presents…
Patrick and Bernadine - The Turkey and Tinsel Edition - Back By Popular Demand With A Festive Twist!
Following a sell-out run in 2007 and 2008, Midlands based Theatre Company Something and Nothing are fluffing up their boas and dragging out the catsuit for Dan Hagley’s hilarious comedy, Patrick and Bernadine with a new festive twist - The Turkey and Tinsel Edition. Patrick and Bernadine will play at The Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton on Wednesday 9 December and The Old Joint Stock Theatre in Birmingham from Thursday 10 - Saturday 19 December.
When Bernadine sets her sights towards Pop Idol stardom and decides to leave Patrick behind, the audience is let in on the more heartbreaking side of the entertainment industry. Patrick is left alone on the holiday circuit to pick up the pieces – with Bernadine’s crazy mother for company!
With entertainment at its heart, Patrick and Bernadine is popular, accessible entertainment in its purest form and audiences never fail to leave with smiles on their faces.
Writer and performer Dan Hagley plays the long suffering Patrick. As an actor Dan has appeared many times at Birmingham Rep, including the role of Tootles in Jonathan Church’s Peter Pan. In 2008 he starred in the BBC 7 radio drama, Project Raphael, directed by Jenny Stephens & has previously performed in a number of episodes of BBC’s Silver Street. On TV Dan has appeared in Jonathan Creek, Crimewatch, as Ian Prentice on BBC’s Doctors and Holby City. Dan is currently a writer on attachment at Birmingham Rep.
