She delivered a powerful voice of empowerment whilst bringing the community together through creative workshops.
Week one kicked off with discussion and application of ‘Grounding Techniques’ where guests were taught how to focus on the ‘here and now’ moment as a useful way of processing and moving forward on a healing journey from traumatic experiences.
Within the safe space and tranquil environment, the creative mind was activated and Grounding Techniques had primed guests to express themselves through creative writing and poetry.
As a self published author and poet, Cheryl Ann will also performed some of her original work in hopes to create the feeling that “You are not alone”.
