Wolverhampton BID is calling for the public to nominate their city centre unsung heroes.
The unsung hero is an individual or team in a Wolverhampton city centre business which deserves recognition for their hard work and commitment.
“Unsung Hero” is one of the categories in the Wolverhampton BID Excellence (BE) Awards.
Cherry Shine, Wolverhampton BID’s Managing Director said: “The BE Awards have been established to recognise and celebrate the rich mix of businesses that make up our city centre.
“But certain people rarely get the recognition they truly deserve.
They may be working behind the scenes with great care and dedication to their job, or they’re always acting with kindness and a willingness to help in whatever capacity necessary.
“They may have committed an act of bravery during the course of the working day or they may always put a smile on customers’ faces.
There are many reasons why someone may be an unsung hero and these are the people we want to hear about and celebrate.”
There are 12 categories in the BE Awards, including Retail Excellence, Community Champion, Diversity and Inclusion and Marketing Activity of the Year.

The deadline for nominations is Friday 21 April. Winners will be announced at a fabulous awards ceremony at Grand Station on 13 July.
