Asylum Artist Quarter is proud to be apart of the creative team working to develop & deliver ‘OFFSITE 9’
We have been involved in the development, curation & selection process, alongside the other creative organisations and artists supporting this local program of innovative interventions around the city centre.
Our project commission is entitled ‘If we had this [SPACE]’, an interactive art trail which you can experience by downloading the OVERHEAR app on your mobile or tablet.
We are also helping to support the realisation of four female photographic explorations of the city under the project ‘SINGLEPOINT/Counterpoint’ and are proud to be hosting 9 sites for artists to respond to including Daniella Turbins’ ‘SO9198’, which will provide visitors with a series of public walks.
Alongside this we have programmed a series of group and solo shows that showcase some of the exceptional local talent here in the midlands. Our program will be across The Quarter & The Asylum Art Gallery and directly responds to the themes BAS9 brings to our city and the questions it raises.
