Eleanor Patricia Smith (born 5 July 1957) is a British Labour Party politician. She has been the Member of Parliament(MP) for Wolverhampton South West since the 2017 general election. She is the first MP from an African Caribbean background to represent a constituency in the West Midlands.
Prior to being an MP, Smith was a theatre nurse and President of the trade union Unison in 2011. She has also served as Chair of the Midlands Regional Trades Union Congress.
