February at Light House Cinema and Cafe Bar

February at Light House Our film recommendation for February is ‘Parasite’ - nominated for 6 Oscars, 4 BAFTAS and winner of Best Cast at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The Korean master director Bong Joon-ho tells the story of two very different families, a tale full of dark thrills, this rip-roaring comedy demonstrates a harsh critique of social inequality.

We’re now heading into awards territory, we’re offering a second chance to see the fantastic ‘Joker’ and Greta Gerwig’s ‘Little Women’ - one of the busiest films we’ve screened in recent years. And finally, plan for a weekend of romance (or just enjoy some great films) and join us in celebrating the 30th anniversary of  ‘Ghost’ on Valentines night or a Sunday afternoon screening of ‘La Dolce Vita’. And of course, we’ll be screening the much anticipated fantasy drama ‘The Lighthouse’. Would be silly not to. We look forward to seeing you soon here at Light House, your city centre cinema.
