Wolverhampton’s Light House cinema has a packed programme to get you well and truly in the festive spirit this month. The city's only independent cinema will be screening Elf, Frozen 2, and new Christmas rom-com Last Christmas as well as hosting a range of one-off fayres and events to get you in the Christmas mood.

Project GIVE's GIVEmas fayre kicks of the run of Christmas-themed events on Saturday 7th December from 12pm. With a Frozen 2 theme, local artists and over 25 stalls, the fayre promises fun for all ages as well as the chance to support local charities Project GIVE and Light House.

Sunday 8th December sees the return of Light House's annual Mistletoe and Mulled Wine event from 4pm, with a singalong in the covered Victorian courtyard following a screening of The Wizard of Oz at 2pm. Get your mulled wine from Lock Works bar and dig deep in your pockets as there will be a bucket shake to raise funds for the #LoveLightHouse campaign, which aims to ensure the future of the city centre community hub.

There will be a Luxury Christmas Wreath Making Workshop, hosted by Queenie's Floral Design, on Tuesday 10 December from 9.30, which will give you the chance to get festive and creative all at once! Places on the workshop are £40 and can be booked by ringing 07772816147.

Light House will also be hosting the Buddha Bros Vegan Christmas, on Saturday 14 December from 12pm, with live music, delicious food and the chance to purchase last minute Christmas gifts. Tickets are £3 (free for  under 11s) and visitors to the Buddha Bros event can get a ticket to a cinema screening at Light House for just £4.50.

Last but not least, Light House has something for all the family on Sunday 15 December - a special Disney-themed quiz, raising money for the #LoveLightHouse campaign. Everyone is advised to wrap up warm as the quiz will be held in Light House's covered-but-cold courtyard. Grab your gloves and your Disney obsessed friends for the quiz, which will finish just in time for you to catch the 2.15 screening of Frozen 2.
