"On June 5th, Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists celebrate five years of presenting their spoken word night Yes We Cant. Originally hosted at the Pretty Bricks pub in Walsall to bring top-notch poetry and spoken word to our region, Yes We Cant moved online at the start of the pandemic, and is still hosted on Zoom by the Wolverhampton-based collective.
The birthday celebrations promise to be something really special. With a nod to that first event in June 2017, Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists have invited back anarchic raconteur Jonny Fluffypunk to headline. Poet Paul Francis will be our ‘Alf Ender, just as he was five years ago. There are, as always, ten open-mic places, and a couple of them are still available, so get in touch sharpish if you want one.
The event starts at 7.30pm and works, as always, on a pay-as-you-feel basis. Audience spaces are still available. For an audience link, email poetsprattlerspandemonialists@gmail.com “
