Wolverhampton's new Mayor Councillor Christine Mills is inviting people to join her and the Marston Singers (www.marston-singers.co.uk) for a musical celebration to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

A special concert is being held in the Mayoral Suite on Tuesday May 29, 2012, from 7pm, to celebrate the Queen's 60-year reign.

Tickets are £5 per person which includes a congratulatory glass of wine during the interval and places must be booked in advance. A raffle will also be held during the evening and all proceeds will go to the Mayor's chosen charities, which during Councillor Mills' year in office are Compton Hospice, Wolverhampton Samaritans and Help for Heroes.

Councillor Mills said: “The Marston Singers will be demonstrating their fabulous vocals in what is sure to be an uplifting celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee which will also raise vital funds for good causes at the same time.”
