Light House is excited to be hosting a fantastic exhibition showcasing music memorabilia, art and photography in the exhibition Where Were You? this October.
Curated by musician Chris Bloor, the exhibition will be open between the 4th – 29th October and features artwork and memorabilia related to Oasis, The Verve, Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, Sir Paul McCartney and Coldplay, including the Zundapp Bella scooter featured on the cover of Oasis's Be Here Now album, and a 1968 Gibson SG guitar used by Sir Paul McCartney on some of his solo albums.
Where Were You? will be partnering with revered photographer Tony Briggs to sell the fascinating Ocean Colour Scene biography ‘Soul Driver', written with Ian Snowball, with all proceeds from the book sales being donated to Shelter – helping those facing poor housing or homelessness.
Light House CEO Kelly Jeffs says of the exhibition:
'As a massive music fan myself I'm thrilled to welcome this exhibition to Light House. Some of the items on display are truly iconic and we look forward to welcoming music buffs from around the country to see the show. We're very grateful to Chris for the contribution the exhibition will be making to the #LoveLightHouse campaign, which aims to secure the future of our venue and ensure that we can continue to hold great exhibitions such as this.'
The exhibition opens official on Friday 4th October and runs until the 29th.
Admission is £8.50, concessions £4.50 with a percentage of ticket sales also going to the #SaveLightHouse campaign.
