Poetry Scum is a monthly working class poetry event held in Nottingham, run by local poet Jesse Eden Freeman. Each month there is two paid headliners that feature and this months features Cece and Wolverhampton’s own Shak.
Shak is a Wolverhampton based poet who runs the collective Spoken Lyrik, known for shooting poetry videos as well as hosting their own poetry event at the Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton.
Cece is a member of the Gobs collective which is another poetry format in Nottingham. Cece is a healer as well as being involved in other creative avenues within the Nottingham scene.
