Craft Inn Bearwood 12th March

Introducing your 2 hosts for this fantastic evening ... mark it on your calendar!

Vicki MacWinyers aka Pixievic

A commanding performer who draws you into her physical stillness with not much more than the mesmeric quality of her velvety voice and an occasional raised eyebrow or flick of the wrist, Vicki writes of human experience that is instantly recognisable and although much of her work is personal, intimate even, it speaks to us all.

Best known for writing about the trials, tribulations – and yes, the joys – of being single, a mother, a woman, but above all a human being (trying to make the best job she can of navigating this crazy, chaotic 21st Century world with no maps, charts, guidebooks or guarantees), Vicki is both extremely funny and exquisitely poignant.  She can swear a bit too… her book Pixiekisses will be available to buy on the night.

Louise Hart

Louise M Hart lives in Birmingham. She has written 2 novels and 2 poetry collections. The latest is Frogs for Patti Smith published by Plastic Brain Press, available to buy from the link below & also on the night ...
