The Artists

Woz is a talented spoken word artist known for his powerful social commentary on addiction and its far-reaching impacts. He has shared his thought-provoking work at prestigious events such as the Wolverhampton Literature Festival 2024, alongside the Geese Theatre at the NAC, with Arts and Homelessness International, at Staffordshire Recover Fest, has been a main performer for Asylum Artist Quarter’s Arts Council funded public arts project, Roundabout, and has had regular appearances on Black Country Radio. With eighteen months in recovery under his belt after 35 years of addiction, Warren channels his experiences into advocacy and artistry as a dedicated volunteer with SUIT.

Bones is a spoken word artist and an activist. As parts of his work, Bones has written a book, titled the “Warriors Bible”. Bones visits many diverse organisations, where he uses poetry & spoken word as a tool to engage and encourage the audience’s connection on a deeper level. Words and poetry enable him to inspire, motivate and facilitate growth, confidence, awareness, and self-development. He runs an empowerment, and family values program, using the power of the spoken word to help the participants to articulate problems that may be hindering them in terms of growth.
