Newhampton Arts Centre is transforming into Wolverhampton’s Fun Palace on Sunday 6th October 2019,  a FREE, nationwide campaign for culture at the heart of community and community at the heart of culture.

 

NAC will open its doors to celebrate the unique skills and passions of the people of Wolverhampton, holding many workshops, events and activities run by, for and with the local community. 2019 marks the fifth year Newhampton Arts Centre has turned into a Fun Palace, with last year being our biggest line up to date.

 

Wolverhampton’s Fun Palace will host a number of events that bring together arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage and sports activities – but above all PEOPLE – to work together, create together, have FUN together, and in doing so, build our own communities, from the grassroots up. NAC are excited to release the first details of their fantastic line up, featuring a wide range of activities including, retro gaming, stop motion, plasticine, flower crafts, mask making, magic, learning experiences . But its not to late to help the day grow be getting involved and making 2019 the biggest Wolverhampton Fun Palace yet!

 

The fun will kick off at 12pm on Sunday 7th October, finishing at 5pm making the perfect full, fun and FREE day out all for everyone from toddlers to 100+.
