The Newhampton Arts Centre, in Dunkley Street,  is a creative venue in the heart of Wolverhampton that nurtures new talent and new ideas.  Boosting a wide range of facilities they offer opportunities for everybody to enjoy and engage in the arts.  As a creative hub, they support mover 30 resident artists and organisations.  The Newhampton Arts Centre (NAC) is a registered charity and is accessible and open to the whole community.  

Their main facilities include: Dance Studios Fitness Studios Large Conference Rooms Studio & Office Space Multi-purpose Theatre (with state of the art sound and licensed bar)  Gallery Hall & Exhibition Space Music Studios Workshop Rooms & Artistic Studios Onsite Café & Catering Service   if you want your organisation to thrive in a friendly and supportive arts network or if you have an exciting idea that you want to make into a reality, then the NAC will find the perfect space for you. 

The 16th January 2019 marked the 125th anniversary of NAC`s historic buildings opening as the Higher Grade School in Wolverhampton.  NACtivist and local historian Jim Barrow has been collecting and presenting information, looking back in time over the NAC site.  Next year will also mark the 20th year of the site opening as the NAC and exciting ideas are in planning stages to celebrate NAC`s BIG birthday!  watch this space!  

Volunteers and NAC staff have been working hard with the Wolverhampton Society of Artists to complete new exhibition stands that will allow the centre to deliver bigger, better and more exhibitions.  Wolverhampton Society of Artists will be holding an exhibition in NAC`s Gallery Hall, from 11th - 19th May and welcoming new members.  It`s a great opportunity, for artists and budding artists, to see what they can offer.  later on in the year NAC will be hosting their first ever resident artists exhibition.
