On Saturday, 29 March, Tom Edmonds-Hill along with his friend Josh, and over 50
other runners are challenging themselves to run 100km in aid of the Black Country
Group of the MND Association.

The event runs all day and will take place over three stages as follows:
Stage One: Tom and Josh complete the first part of their run on a route around
Halesowen and surrounding areas.

Stage Two: You join in! Meet us at the local athletics track and join in for a run –
distance is up to you however long or short you like. Taking part is the main thing.
Stage Three: Tom and Josh finish their last 10k at The Royal British Legion, Oldbury
and where we invite everyone to join in to celebrate!

MND is a fatal, rapidly progressive disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. It
attacks the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work. It can leave
people locked in a failing body, unable to move, talk and eventually breathe.
It kills a third of people within a year and more than half within two years of diagnosis,
and it has no cure.

The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning
for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
