1.)Wrong Sides Together" is an Up-cycling & Crafting group - Everyone is welcome to craft with the group, bring your current project or start a new one, learn how to use a sewing machine, how to spin wool, knit crochet. Sewing machines and knitting machines available to use or bring your own.
Adults must supervise the kids.
Every other Thursday 18/4/19, 2/5/19, 16/5/19 etc. 4pm till 6pm

2.) VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Morale Officer
This position is for volunteer support for Friendly Fridays. You will be working with a small group of people to tackle social isolation in the area. To achieve this every Friday the group will reach out to potential isolated and lonely people in the area leaflet dropping, door knocking and talking to local residents about what activities and events they would like to attend. With the information gained you and your team will plan and host activities at Gatis, these might include craft sessions, film screenings, gaming days, quizzes, karaoke etc... You will be required to welcome visitors and provide a walking bus service from the nearby housing estate. You will be supported by management and volunteers throughout this project.
