The first Woodbridge Vintage & Modern Market of 2012 takes place in the historic Suffolk market town on Saturday 7th April from 10am to 4pm.
Mary Portas, the Government's retail guru has recently championed the value of markets and events to stimulate the high street and the Easter weekend is a good time for Woodbridge to open their market season. The Vintage and Modern Market will be popular with visitors and a boost for tourism.
The market, on the town’s Market Hill and inside the Shire Hall, brings together over 50 stalls selling a huge range of vintage items, from fashions and furniture to jewellery and collectables; alongside modern pieces, such as clothes, homewares and interiors made by regional designers.
This year there is also going to be a good selection of local food stalls so if you are after some stimulating Saturday shopping head to Woodbridge Market on April 7th!
