Bewdley Museum and Bewdley Development Trust will be presenting the town's first Harvest Fair on September 25 and 26.
The fair is a brand new event designed to celebrate the very best of the town and region’s food and drink offering along with demonstrations of traditional arts and crafts. With much of the activity based around Bewdley’s beautiful museum, visitors can experience basket making, strawcraft, hobby horse making and much more. There will also be a focus on local produce and recipes including rare breeds, fruit, preserves, pickles, cider and perry.
Young people from local schools will be getting involved too with the opportunity to take part in dance and arts projects, and to learn more about farming and food production within Wyre Forest.
For more information about the event or to find out how to get involved, please contact Ruth Finney at Bewdley Museum on 01299 403573, or Ellie Hooper at Bewdley Development Trust on 01299 405516.
