KITE-FLYING days and nature trails are among the activities taking place at Croome Park, near Worcester, this month.
From Tuesday, August 18, until Thursday, August 20, visitors to the National Trust property can make and fly their own kites, with kite kits available for £2 and free entry for anyone under 16 bringing their own kite.
On Tuesday there is also the chance to make a special decorative fabric kite during workshops with artist Patricia Dixon from 10am-1pm and 2-4pm.
From Saturday, August 22 to Sunday, August 30 a holiday trail will lead families through the park to discover old and rare trees on the “Tree-rific Family Trail”. The trail is open from 10am to 3.30pm and costs £1, including a prize.
Croome Park is open daily from from 10am to 5.30pm throughout August.
