I had a great meeting yesterday with Jason Dennis from the County Air Ambulance Trust. (Thanks for the chocolate!)
The Trust is launching its lottery fundraiser for the HELP Helicopter Emergency Landing Pad appeal.
For just £1 a week, you get a lucky number for the weekly draw for £1000 first prize. There is also a rollover of up to £10,000!
The funds raised will go to improve the helipads at our local hospitals, installing covered, smoothly paved walkways to improve patient care and comfort. Lighting will also be improved so that the Air Ambulance can operate at night - something they cannot do at present.
