One of the biggest theatrical hits of the last year is taking its final bow at The Malvern Theatres next month.
Morecambe was the runaway success of the Edinburgh Fringe 2009 before it transferred to the West End show where it won the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and a further nomination for Best Actor in a Musical.
This is the last chance to see the one-man show that chronicles the Eric Morecambe. It offers a moving and gloriously funny portrait of the affectionate lad with the born entertainer.
Bob Golding‘s performance as the nation’s all time favourite funny-man has been showered with critical acclaim. His fans include Eric’s family and some of the country’s favourite comedians who have been bowled over by the actor’s uncanny likeness to the man himself, many of whom were Eric’s contemporaries and friends.
Morecambe runs from November 8 to 13. Tickets are available from 01684 892277 or at malvern-theatres.co.uk
