High School Rocks (August 5, 6.30pm) Worthing Pavilion Theatre
Wildcats everywhere invited to celebrate teen TV shows and films
Would-be Wildcats are invited to join the latest high school party when High School Rocks visits Worthing on August 5.
High School Rocks pays tribute to High School Musical, Camp Rock!, Hannah Montana and Glee, celebrating their success with song and high-energy dance routines inspired by the shows.
The cast of High School Rocks includes eight vocalists and dancers who performed world-wide with The Ginger Music Company. They have been part of events as diverse as the MOBO awards and BBC Sport Relief as well as performing on shows such as Louis Spence’s Showbusiness.
The show recreates the songs and dances seen on some of the most popular teen TV shows and films with choreographer Stillie Dee adding her own twists to the routines for the live show. In addition to High School Rocks, her work has included events for L’Oreal and Vidal Sassoon as well as promotional videos for MTV. She is one of QDOS Entertainment’s top choreographers and has created shows for Julian Clary, Brian Conley, Lesley Joseph and David Essex.
Producer Pete Tobit has performed with artists such as Van Morrison and The Commitments, worked with Bryan Adams, The Gypsy Kings, The Drifters, The Three Degrees and Sister Sledge among others, while more recently he has produced touring shows The Illegal Eagles, The Official Chicago Blues Brothers and Celtic Dream.
