Anyone lamenting the loss of ITV’s Dancing on Ice may look forward to a night of live ice-skating, dance and magic when Extravaganza on Ice visits Worthing Pavilion Theatre.
The stage will be transformed using a carpet of synthetic ice on which international skaters will perform a show in four sections, circus, swing, ‘around the world’ and fantasy.
The circus section includes a series of illusions by White Magic, led by award-winning magician Michael White and assisted by contortionist Hulan alongside comical clowns. Michael has recently completed a world cruise during which he showcased his magic routines. Hulan has performed across the globe since beginning her career with the Mongolian State Circus at age seven, she most recently worked as part of The Circus of Horrors in their show The Contortionist.
During the show the high-energy skating routines, enhanced by costumes inspired by Bollywood, Africa, Spain and Ireland, will culminate in a Las Vegas style showgirl finale.
Manager of Extravaganza on Ice, Roy Hastings says: “Michael White and Hulan will take you on a glamorous and exiting journey suitable for all the family, which will include the glamour of Las Vegas, the mystery and illusion of Halloween, all with a dash of magic. Audiences should be prepared for a dazzling spectacle performed on ice which brings the breathtaking talent of international ice skaters to the theatre stage.”
