The Chuckle Brothers return to Worthing for an afternoon with of two performances of their new show Return of the Pirates of the River Rother 2 in Stranger Tights.
The show sees Paul and Barry visiting a theme park for the day where they decide to brave one of the daring water rides. Once inside, they are leaning on a wall when they accidentally fall through and find themselves magically transported back in time in to a world of pirates and sunken treasures.
The Chuckle Brothers have now featured on television screens and stages for over twenty years, having first been seen in Chucklevision in 1987. The television show has always been transmitted during children’s viewing hours but their live performances include humour and storylines which appeal to all age-groups.
Real-life brothers Paul and Barry have celebrated 25 years in show business, having starred in a variety of productions ranging from their television performances to their current film-themed live productions which have included Raiders of the Lost Bark, The Chuckles Strike Back, Barry Potty And His Smarter Brother Paul In The Chamber of Horrors and their current show Pirates of the River Rother 2 in Stranger Tights.
Paul says: “Ahoy there landlubbers! Avast behind and prepare to splice the main brace as we go on a full blown swashbuckling adventure at sea! Magic, mystery and mayhem are guaranteed – it’s got fun and laughter for all the family and grandmother as well!”
