MK Windows - The big freeze continues
Not wanting to sound too much like a know it all but i told you so! I am of course referring to the big freeze that we are all experiencing at the moment.
It may or may not to be too late for your gutters depending on the age and current fall position to the down pipe but either way you should not ignore a problem if you have one!
If you have lots of standing water in the gutter its for a reason either blocked or badly positioned, the tell tale signs are staining around the joints and down pipe connector, balls of moss on the floor around the property or in the drain directly fed by the down pipes.
Possible hazards and consequences are (in freezing conditions) cracked joints and pipes and nobody wants that now do they! premature deterioration of the gutter. Increased risk of slips, trips and falls where the gutters are dripping directly onto footpaths and door steps! to name but a few.
The solution is to prevent this all happening by having regular cleaning and clearing of your gutters in conjunction with your regular window cleaning.
If it is too late why not bring your property back to a safe condition by having the paths pressure washed and the gutters serviced all at the same time as well as your windows cleaned at the end to make it all spik and span.
