I was travelling through Gwersyllt and called in to M & L Pets World to replenish my wild bird seed. Unfortunately Michelle wasn't in but her shop was busy as usual.
We have had a wonderful Spring and Summer with our garden birds, the sparrows, blue tits, great tits, greenfinches, goldfinches and robins have all produced new families on several occasions. Siskins and nut hatches have also visited and blackbirds, thrushes, pidgeons and ring neck doves have all been regulars.
However, during this last couple of weeks visits from our feathered friends have been rare. I wonder if this has something to do with harvesting in the local farms. Has anyone else experienced this "migration" or should I put it down to our looking after our neighbours cat whilst they are holidaying.
At least I am now well stocked up with food for when they deign to return.
