Last night was another miserable, cold and slushy time but it didn't stop an enthusiastic crowd attending the Fusion Network Meeting at Central Station. Once again Dave Grey of The Foundry with Centrals own Matt and Aled put on an interesting mix of art and music and of course Networking opportunities.
It was an excellent chance to renew acquaintances and make new contacts. It is also a good time to assess the current economic situation, it's effect on Wrexham and to give and receive ideas about how to contend with everything that the government and the weather is throwing at us. It almost seems unfair to mention the weather in the light of the disaster in Madiera, but our weather is having a distinct adverse effect on most of us. Let's hope that the Met Office forecasts a lousy Summer to be followed by a harsh Winter and we can perhaps look forwards to sunshine all the way!
I enjoyed meeting up with Jan Wass whose Freespirit business has enjoyed nationwide triumph in our Days of Love fortnight. Thankfully Jans upbeat attitude was shared by the majority of networkers and the Meeting was a great success.
