The police station tower block is a Wrexham landmark and has been North Wales Police (NWP) Wrexham headquarters since 1975 - but this concrete building could be demolished in August 2016 if plans are approved to flatten it by Wrexham Council's planning department.
In 2013, North Wales Police announced that they wanted to relocate and build a new custody suite and offices on Llay Industrial Estate as well as a new police station in Wrexham town centre - this will mean, they will be vacating the Bodhyfryd headquarters.
Plans to demolish the building are currently out to Public Consultation prior to being submitted to the Council and the police force have now displayed a public notice of intent outside the building.
Have your say - will you be glad to see the back of this "carbuncle architecture"? What should be put in its place? We'd love to hear your views.
