The free, two-day Pawsome Pooch event will see a doggy takeover at the dog-friendly Somerset shopping outlet with have-a-go agility and trick sessions, expert displays, pooch pampering, caricature pet paw-traits and Guide Dog demonstrations.
At the heart of the event will be a canine-casting photography competition to find Clarks Village’s next CEO; Canine Executive Officer. Professional pet photographers will be scouting the event hosting free dog photo shoots with a shortlist of entries going before a public vote to find the region’s top dog.
The winner will be bestowed with the ‘CEO’ title, handed over by Bailey the whippet – the winner of the very first Pawsome Pooch event held in 2022 – and become Clarks Village’s paw-fect poster star. As well as being the outlet’s official canine consultant, they and their owner will also receive VIP invites to Clarks Village events as well as a prize package.
Held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September between 11am and 4pm, the event is open to all. As the official photo shoots as part of the Pawsome Pooch casting competition are limited, dog owners are advised to pre-book an appointment in advance. Alternatively, owners can also enter the competition by heading down to Clarks Village across the weekend and looking out for the roaming ‘pup-arazzi’ photographer for a quick walk-up snap session.
