Earlier this morning a suspicious package was destroyed in Scarborough in a controlled explosion. The package in question was an abandoned baby's pram, which was mistaken for a bomb due to some wires protruding from it. The eod squad were left red faced after clearing a 100 metre area to remove the highly explosive baby transport device, once it became clear there was no threat.
