Went for lunch there for a treat. And wow, what a treat. The food was modern and very tasty, reasonable selection of wines and service just right, friendly but professional. Can't wait to go back.

I had dinner at the Bass & Lobster while visiting Jersey on Business recently. What a meal we had! The food & drink are top class, the setting is lovely but the real winner is the service. The staff are brilliant and so attentive, friendly and professional - led admirably by the lovely Kirsty and backed up by Dave who leads his brigade in the kitchen.

So good I had to write a review! I can’t actually think of a better restaurant in Jersey - this has to be no.1. Not only was the food amazing but atmosphere was first class. It takes something special to beat a home cooked Sunday lunch and Kirstie and her team have got this down to an art! We had seen a lot of great reviews and I’m not sure words alone can do it justice. Quite simply phenomenal. Well done!

Celebrated husband’s 60th birthday here with superb lunch for 18 people aged 4-80 years and everyone had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and portions were perfect. Kirstie was friendly and helpful and the overall service was excellent. We would definitely recommend it.

We went to The Bass and Lobster for my birthday on Wednesday evening, as usual the service was fantastic and the food excellent, I had seen them advertise the steamed pudding and couldn't wait to try it, it definitely lived up to my expectations. Please keep it on the menu. Thank you for a great evening.

As an accomplished cooker, often single-handed who has provided sustenance and charm to visitors for many decades, often there are noticeable little things which take the shine off eating out .
So when a friend asked me to join her Birthday Party at the Bass and Lobster I was delighted to have the opportunity of going there for the first time, no reason for that, just wanted the occasion and time.
What surprised me was that as soon as I entered I could absorb a warm vibe. You knew that even if the food was different to what you would normally eat, it was going to be selected, cooked and served by professionals to a very high standard,
No disappointments, no complaints, no criticism. Even had draught beer on tap @ £4,50 a pint to refresh the palette at the outset of a memorable evening,

One of the best Sunday lunches I've had for a long time,wide selection of dishes and everything presented beautifully and attentively served by Kirstie and her team.Definately great value and can't wait for a return visit
