The quay is much more than a theatre. The bar is very welcoming, with views of the stour; coffee is good and there is a costume hire place on the top floor.I recommend a drop in and suggest signing up for more information about events.

This theatre is run by volunteers. Surprisingly good range and quality of drama, comedy, music and films.

Went to see George Egg, Shed Chef, with 4 mates on Thursday 7th June. Met with a welcome by the volunteer staff. Good range of beers and spirits to help with the personal warm up. Then the show itself. Yet another terrific night of top class comedy from the Quay ( I have been to several over the last 5 years). Great entertainment and extremely tasty food to finish. Not bad for the price of a good show.

I love the quay it's a charming theatre staffed by locals that puts on the kind of joyous entertainment that is both better and cheaper than you'd expect.

As always, very well organised evening. The staff and volunteers do a wonderful job in this small intermet theatre.

My friend and I had been planning a Hen Party for a while and due to unfortunate circumstances we had to find a new venue last minute to hold our own afternoon tea.
The Quay came up on our google search and it was the best thing that could have happened.
The employees are beyond amazing! They were so helpful with everything! We feel they went over and beyond with their customer service. They even provided us with extra helpful equipment that we had not asked for but were so grateful that they did.
The venue itself is wonderful for a private get together or just to go and enjoy a drink, it has a relaxed and fun atmosphere with a very friendly, helpful and professional bar lady.
The manager is a warm and welcoming lady that will immediately put your mind at ease and help with all queries.
The views are gorgeous for pictures as it is right next to the river stour.
The Quay pub/theatre took our crap situation and made it fabulous!
We highly recommend this venue for its building, bar, views, atmosphere and outstanding customer service! 💖

First visit having lived in area three years, don’t think it’s advertised enough. Good parking. Quaint building. Smelt damp on entry. Cheap bar. Show we saw, Lionel Ritchie, was a bit amateur but overall good experience. Pop up restaurant looked good.

This is an old industrial building converted into a great little theatre. It features live theatre, live music, comedy films and more. Some shows for kids too!

There is a bar [serving Adnams beers [real ale] amongst others], which sometimes hosts exhibitions.

Every facility for a good night out!

Went to see 'A Star is Born' here, good movie but audio was just too low, most of the dialogue was inaudible, shame as it's nice to have somewhere local to see films.
