Bonfire night is almost upon us and what better way to celebrate than going to a community event. Here are all the firework displays in Hertford, Ware and the surrounding area.
Fireworks are pretty and exciting for humans but not for animals who often become distressed and even traumatised. Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, ferrets and birds all suffer when fireworks are being let off.

Do you remember when huge spectacular firework displays on bonfire night were unheard of, instead it was common for families to build a bonfire in their garden to light when it got dark on November 5th.
The Annual Fireworks Spectacular will happen on Saturday November 4th at the corner of High Oak Road and Kingsway.
Harwood Hill school in Welwyn Garden City are looking for sponsors for their annual firework display.

It's that time of year again for hot dogs, sparklers and things that go bang, fizz and we go ooh ahh. A small fortune spent on a box of fireworks that last 10 or 15 minutes. But it's got to be done, whether you've got young children or not, each year organised firework and bonfires attract thousands of people.

Bonfire night is approaching, and once again we can look forward to several evenings of spectacular firework displays, huge bonfires, toffee apples, mulled wine, terrified cats and dogs, and for the less fortunate, a trip to the local hospital A&E burns unit.
